See how new colors look on your walls before you paint! Finding the right color for a room can be a challenge, but Paint Tester shows you the results without all the pain of painting and repainting! Easily try out colors from the palette or take a photo of a color you'd like to try, and apply it to pictures of your own home! Know what you're getting in to before the first drop of paint touches the walls. Paint Tester's variety of tools and smart paint bucket make it easy to change the wall color in a picture in a matter of seconds! Start by taking a picture of the room you'd like to paint, then use the paint bucket to apply colors to the walls. In a well lit photo, the smart paint bucket will color the wall without bleeding on to neighboring walls or the ceiling.
This gives you the control to get a clean picture of how the color would look, and you can even use multiple colors at the same time to try an accent wall! If you didn't like how the first color looks, use the color picker to choose another, and just tap with the paint bucket to replace it! For great results try taping a color sample to the wall and take a photo of it. Use the color picker to select the sample, then use the paint bucket to start applying the color right next to the sample. Because the sample and the wall will be lit the same, this can take a lot of the guesswork out of how the color will look in the lighting of the room. Me-Dec-2012, Simply Awesome!
Very good app. I was able to snap a pic of my room (wall), apply some colors, realized that I couldn’t find a color that I liked on the wall.
The Olioboard app allows you to see pieces of furniture and accessories from many stores in a 3D moodboard, or on the backdrop of a photo of your room. So you can see how that couch looks with this lamp, or how that chair pairs with that table. How to use the Photos app for Mac. Complete guide to setting up, using and mastering Photos for Mac, Apple's clever photo management app. It's saved as a single image file that looks like any.
( had I went to the store, picked a color, came home and painted, I would have been disappointed, this app saved me the time, money and frustration) Using this app I was able to decide on painting another portion of the room, found a color I liked. The paint codes were useless at Lowe’s, but this app gave me a color that I was able to save to my photo album, then using Sherman Williams app, I was able to import the color (pic) from Paint Tester and Sherwin Williams found a matching color. My results match Paint Tester to a T, I got exactly what I was able to produce using the app. I love this and would recommend it. Me-Dec-2012, Simply Awesome!

Chechandchong, Takes a little effort Once you get some colors where you want them it's really easy to change the colors multiple times.
Takes a little learning curve to use the tools but they are simple enough and plenty of directions given. Lots of colors to choose from unlike the other app I tried. This one leaves details like handles on the photo and not just painting on a photograph. Love this app. Yes it's a square paint brush. But you can make it small and use the corner of the square to cut into tight spaces.
The negative reviewer must not have tried it very long. Chechandchong, Takes a little effort Once you get some colors where you want them it's really easy to change the colors multiple times. THNKFL2B, Set up the base and then you can have fun It is worth going in and figuring out the tools it comes with and then painting your areas carefully because then it is so helpful you just tap to try.i agreed the negative reviewer didn't take the time to figure out the tools because you can choose sensitivity it's quite brilliant little app but at first as I was learning it I wasv the same thing I was learning and saying how dumb it was but then I gave it a chance and learned it and I'm grateful I did.
